Your 'Airfield infrastructure expertise' is required to enable the continued growth and development of the aviation business stream within this firm of Built Environment specialists. To succeed in this role you will be chartered and have an extensive track record in delivering airfield infrastructure projects in consultancy lead surroundings.
This position is at Director level and you will be part of a specialist airfield infrastructure team (currently a team of 10 experienced airfield engineers).
The core aviation team is based in the North West and based on a strong future pipeline of work for both civil and military clients, this team is ready to expand.
The role requires an inquisitive, curious mind, capable of developing innovative outcomes to support clients and there will be travel opportunities both within the UK and internationally.
Key tasks and responsibilities will include :
Technical leadership, mentorship
Airfield infrastructure design at all RIBA stages for both traditional and design and build procurement
Project Management (of project cost / budget / risk and opportunity)
Business development and work winning
You will have had :
Extensive experience of delivering design of new airfield infrastructure
Extensive experience in review, assessment and design of any alterations to existing infrastructure
Extensive experience of delivering airfield infrastructure and civil design in accordance with Eurocode and UK Building Regulations
Experience and understanding of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 including Principal Designer role
