Senior Mechanical Engineer – Building Services
£40,000–£55,000 + Car Allowance | Hybrid – 2 Days in Office

The Role
You will take ownership of mechanical building services design and project delivery, working within multidisciplinary teams from concept through to detailed design.
- Design and specify mechanical building services systems
- Lead mechanical packages on small to medium-sized projects
- Produce technical designs, calculations and specifications
- Coordinate with Electrical Engineers, Technicians and other disciplines
- Liaise directly with clients and attend technical/design meetings
- Review designs and maintain technical quality and compliance
- Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians
- Help deliver projects successfully against programme and client requirements
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years' Mechanical Building Services design experience
- Experience delivering technically complex projects
- Experience leading packages of work and coordinating junior engineers
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Good technical knowledge of mechanical building services design

Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and/or NBS Chorus/Create
- IES Thermal Modelling experience would be advantageous

Working towards Chartered status with CIBSE or another relevant professional body
