We are pleased to be recruiting a structural engineer or senior structural engineer on behalf of a well established multi disciplinary consultancy in Leeds with well established business to assist in dealing with an increase in workload and the further development and expansion of the team, which is responsible for the structural design of buildings in the commercial, industrial, health, leisure, retail and residential development sectors

About you and the role

• You will be a structural engineer ideally with 2-5 yrs design experience
• Have a well-rounded design experience with new build projects and refurbs proficient in the design of all structural materials.
• Experience in the preparation of calculation packages to assist other team members
• Experience in the preparation of structural engineering inspection reports on a variety of building types and/or structures, which may involve long distance travel to various parts of the UK. 
• Proficiency in use of design software such as Tekla, Tedds.
• Ideally be chartered or near chartered, or have aspirations to be chartered
